Submission Guidelines:
AMERICAN MUSTARD: THIRD VOLUME
Submission Period: July 1st-September 1st
-Though we do prefer poetry solicited from contributors that were asked directly, should an unsolicited piece meet our interests and fit in aesthetically, thematically, or qualitatively, then it will absolutely be considered for publication.
-Submit 4-6 poems of any (non-obnoxious) length.
This gives us a variety of poems to choose from, but will not overwhelm us.
-Submit poems in a word document with some indication on the file stating at least your last name (ex. “Mustard Submission_LASTNAME”). It simply helps us sort out the poems easier, and allows us to get back to submitters faster.
-When you submit, provide us with a bio of no more than 75 words. This will not only gives us a sense of who you are if you are unsolicited, but it will also expedite the issue’s publication should we select your piece.
-Upon publication, you will receive a free PDF of the magazine. Due to unfortunate circumstances, a print copy will have to be purchased by the contributor. For further information on this, check out our Blug entry, "How Mustard Works."
